: )What's a good recipe using canned salmon?
I make Salmon Croquettes, kind of like crabcakes made with salmon

canned salmon, breadcrumbs, an egg or 2, sometimes some mayo, sesame seeds, or extra seasoning depending on how I feel. Form patties like hamburgers. Cook in pan on stove in a little oil or butter. You can dredge the cakes in extra breadcrumbs or sesame seeds if you want.
Salmon Cheese Spread (or Ball)

Clean the salmon and mix with one (softened) 8 oz. pkg of cream cheese.

Stir in 1 tsp of horseradish, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, some finely chopped onions. Mix well. This makes an excellent spread for crackers or to make a sandwich. You can also refrigerate it for an hour and then shape it into a ball and roll it in a mixture of finely chopped walnuts and parsley to make a party cheese ball.

You can mix the salmon with mashed potatoes and an egg, add chopped onions and some seasoning. Press into bread crumbs and fry in a bit of oil or shortening.

This recipe comes from her years ago.
Salmon Potatoes, or Salmon Pie.

Same concept... kinda

Salmon Potatoes is just to mix the can of drained salmon with about 4-5 large potatoes cooked, and mashed. You can season them with salt and pepper, or even add or take away the potatoes to your taste.

Salmon Pie is to do the same as above, but put potatoes in a 9 inch pie crust and bake until the crust is golden brown... Usually 15-25 mins at 350. Just keep checking the crust while cooking to avoid burning the edges or over cooking!
