Salmon recipe help please!!?

My doctor put me on an anti-inflammatory diet which is supposed to help with my acne. Part of the diet is eating more wild caught salmon. Anyway, I bought some expensive salmon from Whole Foods, but I have no idea how to cook it as I've never cooked fish before. I can't grill it because I live in Chicago and it's like 20 degrees outside with 4 inches of snow from a few days ago. So I would like recipes that are either for the oven or skillet. (oh and also no Forman grill recipes either... I gave it away because I hate it)

Thanks in advance!Salmon recipe help please!!?
I absolutely love salmon and my favorite way to prepare it is really simple. All you have to do is remove the skin and cut the salmon in to filets. Place it on tin foil and place two small pieces of butter underneath each filet. Sprinkle it with lemon pepper, and salt if you can. Place two or three butter pieces on top of each. Put it in the oven and broil it until ready. The recipe is simply delicious. I hope you enjoy! And good luck on your new diet!Salmon recipe help please!!?
If its high quality you really don't have to do much. A little salt, pepper %26amp; put under the broiler till you see small white dots of moisture coming out of the fish. Remove it, let it sit for 5 minutes %26amp; enjoy. Any leftovers can be made into a salad, spread for crackers, soup or chowder, or simply reheat gently %26amp; eat.
You can bake it with some simple seasoning like salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
This is my favorite recipe for salmon -- but if you don't like mustard, you won't like it .... I will one more of my favorites, too:

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

陆 cup mayonnaise

陆 cup yogurt

陆 cup spicy brown mustard

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped

1 pound salmon fillets

2 teaspoons dried dill weed

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare baking sheet with non stick spray.

In a bowl stir together mayonnaise and mustard. Add thyme, oregano and basil, mixing well.

Place salmon fillets on baking sheet and spread with mayonnaise mixture. Sprinkle with dill weed.

Bake for 30 - 40 minutes, or until salmon easily flakes with a fork.

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

1 pound salmon fillets

录 cup butter, melted

5 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon dried dill weed

录 teaspoon garlic powder

sea salt to taste

freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a medium baking dish with non stick spray.

Place salmon in dish. Mix butter and lemon dish, drizzle over salmon. Sprinkle with seasonings.

Bake 25 minutes, or until salmon easily flakes with a fork.

P.S. -- the leftovers are wonderful for lunch the next day in tossed salad. Sometimes I use them to make a creamy spread for dipping -- YUM.
