Does anyone know a good recipe I can use my leftover salmon fillets for?

You can make many different dishes using leftover salmon. You can shred the salmon to make salmon salad. You can also shred the salmon to make salmon cakes. You could also shred the salmon and add it to a stuffing to stuff some grilled portobello mushrooms. These are just some of the ways you can use leftover salmon. .Hot days are upon us. A great way to cool off is with a refreshingly chilled salmon salad. This salad is also one way to use up leftover salmon from a summer barbecue. Easy and quick.





1 lb salmon fillet, cooked, either poached, grilled, or gently fried, and cooled to at least room temperature


2 celery stalks - finely chopped


1/2 red onion - peeled, finely sliced


1 Tbsp of capers (strain out the pickling juice)


The juice of 1 lemon (regular lemon, not Meyer lemon)


1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil


2 Tbsp fresh dill - chopped


Salt and freshly ground pepper





Break cooked salmon into chunk sized pieces and add to bowl. Combine celery, red onion, capers, lemon juice, olive oil, fresh dill in a separate dish. Gently add the dressing mixture into the bowl of salmon, mixing just enough so all pieces are coated. Add a sprinkling of salt and ground pepper to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to cool and to allow the flavors to blend.





Serve with a slice of lemon. Serves 4.

heavy cream in a pan let it reduce to half then add garlic s-p and dill then add your salmon great dish over pasta or rice
Putting dog crap and tuna is good. No joke. Sounds nasty but its great :)
assuming that you have a food processor,: you can make a cooked molded salmon mousse.
Cook some orzo (rice shaped pasta) in chicken broth and serve with the salmon over top of it.





Make a salad!
Break it up and beat it together with a brick of cream cheese, some chopped green onion and celery. Heavenly with crackers and unbelievably easy and quick. I have also made this with a can of salmon and it's also very good.
